About Yomi aka DJ Kasanova

His name is Yomi, also known as DJ Kasanova. He's the owner and founder of Kasanova Productions, LLC in March 2018. DJ Kasanova is a practicing Producer, Musician, DJ, and Dance Instructor currently working with his wife Kellisha in the Milwaukee area. His passion for music blossomed from a young age as he grew up in Atlanta, GA, a music capitol, in a Nigerian household. 

Since the 5th grade, DJ Kasanova has played a variety of instruments including the trumpet, baritone, guitar, piano, and multiple percussion instruments. His singing experience comes from participation in vocal groups from grade school through college, and on his produced songs today.  DJ Kasanova started DJing parties during his college years in Georgia, Virginia, Michigan, and Wisconsin. As for studio experience, he started producing and mixing music in the fall of 2014, initially with Garageband and later upgrading to Logic Pro during college courses in audio production/mixing in 2015. 

Starting in Fall 2017, he became the apprentice at the Soundlab Producing and Recording studio in downtown Milwaukee. DJ Kasanova plans to continue to gain experience in all of these areas as time goes on to continue learning and growing as an overall artist and sharing his vibes with the world. 

As a DJ, he focuses on playing an International Mix of music for the crowd that is relatable and danceable to all. Genres include but aren't limited to: Afrobeats, Reggae, Hip-hop, R&B/Soul, Latin, Jazz, Easy Listening, Pop, and more. He always takes song requests during his set.
